UPDATE 5/2019: Much better as of late.  Shrimp po-boy usually stuffed with large well seasoned shrimp, Great prices. And they usually answer the phone for call in orders, and have it ready in about ten minutes.

Review of Apr '18: last couple of times not so good. Dry, overcooked, and not well seasoned shrimp. Tried calling in an order Good Friday, phone just rang. Must've had it off the hook.

Unfortunately if you get a hankering for a seafood po-boy after 8:30 pm you're out of luck. They close the kitchen early.

Visiting New Orleans and read the reviews on this place .... Decided to go as it was within walking distance from my Airbnb.

This is NOT an eat-in place. More like a convenient store that sells some amazing food. They've got boiled shrimp that are larger than the law should allow, boiled crab and huge crab legs and the crawfish... EXCELLENT. It was perfectly seasoned to allow for the taste of the crawfish and some heat but not overdone where you are just eating super hot seasoning with a crawfish flavor to it. They also have hot, fried items: seafood platters, boudin balls, etc.

If you're an fan of seafood, you cant go wrong with this place. More of a stop n go joint. But you cant go wrong neither.

I love coming home back to the city because I always go to Cajuns to get some crawfish and a hot sausage poboy! Nothing compares. I was so sad to leave because I knew I wasn't going to be able to find food like this in Dallas. The first time I came was on Saturday around lunch time. And we got 6 pounds of crawfish with 2 big shots. Then later on that day we got 2 more pounds of crawfish lol. Yeah, we had been craving some good crawfish so we had to double back. And finally, right before we left to come back to Dallas we got hot sausage poboys, 2 more big shots, and a box of mama noodles. Yes, you can say it was a pretty good experience. I'm just counting the days I can come back home and get some again.

Cajun's seafood never disappoints. The crawfish, crabs, and shrimp was well seasoned and priced.

I am not and have not been a fan of this place but sometimes they are the only place I can find what I'm looking for. The service is a take it or leave it type of attitude.

I did order shrimp, turkey necks, and a yakamein from the location. The shrimp is ordered by the pound and turkey by quantity, and both were very tasty but the yakamein tasted like water.

The location on Claiborne always looks like it can still uses good mopping. The bathroom didn't seem to lock properly.
